Ipamorelin is a synthetic peptide of just five building blocks — a pentapeptide — in the growth-hormone-secretagogue class. That makes it one building block smaller than the six-block secretagogues it sits beside in the catalog.
Vestrand supplies it as a single-lot reference standard, prepared for third-party confirmation and retrievable by lot number.
What stands out on a closer look is how engineered this short chain is: three of its five building blocks are non-standard, including a capped end and a bulky ring building block. That bulky building block is also why the molecule weighs more than you might expect for such a short chain. Because so much of it is non-standard, it cannot be written in the simplest letter shorthand.
