IGF-1 LR3 is an engineered, longer version of the natural growth factor IGF-1 — a protein of about eighty-three building blocks, with one building block swapped and a short extension added at the front. Unlike the synthetic peptides in the catalog, it is made recombinantly, grown in cells rather than assembled chemically.

Because it is a recombinant protein, it is identified through regulatory identifiers rather than the small-molecule database records used elsewhere in the catalog — which is normal for a biologic.
